そういえば昨日の晩、Vera とジムに行って二人ともつかれっちゃったのでもう夜飯は外食だ！って（最近いつもなんですけど）、近くのいい加減なすし屋で済ませました。スーパーの近くまで行ってたので、明日のついでに買い物もしようということになり…
近くの Key Food も寄ることにしました。まぁいわゆる普通のスーパーで、（品質はともかく）結構安くて気に入ってます。僕らは、いつものとおり、ペットボトルの水（Work out してるときに飲む）とビール（お気に入りの Tiger ビール）をちょっとだけカートにいれ、こっちに来て手放せなくなりつつある Sodaを物色していました。いっつも基本的に Diet Coke ばっかなので、たまには違うのを、ってアイスティーを見ていたら、通りかかった女性に「ティーバッグかって、砂糖入れたらいいじゃない。」って声をかけられました。困ったわねって顔しながら彼女はすぐに行ってしまいました。
おかしかったけれど彼女の言い分は全くもっともだったので、僕らは結局 Diet Coke を選んで、またぶらぶらしていました。牛乳売り場に差し掛かったところで、また彼女に出会ったので僕はコークにしたよっていったら、また困った顔しながら、人口甘味料のジュースを飲むのをやめて以下に彼女が健康になったかとかを話してくれてたんです。
でも、彼女、悪いけどあんまり健康そうに見えなかったんだよね ; ) 僕らはこれを飲み終わったらやめよう、なんていかにもアメリカ人風なことを言いながら彼女とお別れして、家に帰りました。
