Here's one of my favourite cafe in East Village. Sometimes there's a Japanese girl as a waitress, but today, all of the girls working there talked like British.. That was funny, even I didn't understand all of their talking..
postscript: The place is called "Sympathy for the Kettle". And on the way of looking that, I found New York Songlines. Very updated. And also, Google Local.
